About Client:

Our client is a world-leading consumer electronics provider, with their mass production and multi-million business. Currently they’re active seeking talent for their Manufacturing Engineering Manager position.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager of Manufacturing, you will be responsible to oversee the planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress for the manufacturing operation. You will also be liaising with superior to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Supervise and lead a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of products.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with all regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to meet production goals.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain, streamline operations, and promote initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and execute best practices, innovative technology, and new opportunities to improve production capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze important performance metrics to make educated decisions and fuel corporate growth.
  • Within the manufacturing organization, cultivate a culture of safety, employee engagement, and talent development.
  • Leading and executing the transformation of the manufacturing function in accordance with the company's strategic goals.
  • Create and implement strategic initiatives to drive operational excellence and maximize production efficiency across various plants.
  • Lead and direct manufacturing teams, ensuring that quality standards, production timelines, and cost targets are met.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree or Master in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Manufacturing Engineering or related disciplines.
  • 12+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with 5-8 years in a managerial role.
  • A strong blend of corporate and operational experience.
  • Strategic planning and execution skills that drive operational excellence are required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, quality management, and continuous improvement approaches such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Analytical mindset centered on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Understanding of international manufacturing standards and regulations.
  • Worked with cross-functional teams and managed stakeholders at various levels.
